Just played the Alpha test if anyone cares.

Metropolis looks amazing might be better looking than Gotham.
Game is decent, story is interesting.
Gameplay is repetitive(but I'm not that bothered by it)
When playing it just makes you wish they made a Justice League or Superman game.
Each character feels different and unique from each other.
Honestly this is one of those games you have to play for yourself rather than watch gameplay imo.
Also lots of references to Deathstroke have a feeling he will be a playable character at some point
Would not pay $70-80 for this obviously.

what's the gameplay loop like? I'm assuming it's a typical open world and you go around taking over bases and collecting things.





Cant believe we've been waiting 8 years for Rocksteady to commit studio suicide with this game, just like Arkane did with Redfall.

Yeah mainly the transversal powers is what sets them a part. So I mainly played Boomerang and played Deadshot briefly,King Shark. Boomerang feels the most versatile. You want to mix in the Transversal powers with the combat. You can counter as well. And you get transversal signature moves. This is what makes it fun. With Boomerang you can run fast like the Flash briefly and slide and start shooting+ use your boomerang. And also evade

Obviously, with Deadshot, I think you can get the idea basically in the air shooting, switching guns. Haven't used his Transversal Signature. Also you get skill trees as well I haven't dived into too deep yet tbh. I think there's a bit more there to uncover.

Also the part where you encounter Batman is pretty cool.

It's pretty funny at times I really the dynamic between the team

I agree its sad that they wasted several years working on this could have been a great Justice League game,Superman game or anything else besides this. This game is something you get on sale definitely not day 1
