Anyone purchase from Shein?

I live in an apartment filled with college students and the package room is filled with boxes from SHEIN.

Trend came outta nowhere

Gf has bought cheap stuff for vacations. They have a good selection of slooty dresses and bathing suits, which is why they are popular with younger women.

Yeah probably. it’s big here in UK too, they must have dropped in insane amount on advertising bc it’s all I see now. Even shows up on first page of google. Swear it just came out of nowhere and mogged

Good documentary on Hulu srs

They use algorithms to figure out what styles are popping, order a few units if they sell they order a big order. Plus they got cheap Chinese labor and insanely cheap shipping

Kinda like H&M or Zara fast fashion except on a way bigger scale

design patents are a joke and expensive to take into court

imagine a company being mad over a shirt that sells 500 units a month and makes $2 profit. And then a lawyer quotes em $50k with low chance of winning the case
