It was very very well done. Great story and I was impressed by the CGI. It wasn’t a mess like you’re watching a transformer movie and there’s diarrhea all over the screen at all times. I wasn’t focused on and distracted about how unnatural something looks. Godzilla looked menacing as fuk too.

Godzilla Minus One:

-No stupid eye melting special effects
-No big name actors that make the movie all about themselves
-No forced diversity, inclusion or agenda garbage
-No stupid cliche romance to cater to a female demographic
-No convoluted script to put a child in danger to pull at your heartstings

It is a well written, well scripted, well acted and well edited movie that puts Hollywood to fukking shame.

Somewhat, although I think positive word will keep it strong week two. Also, while I had no issue finding theaters to see this - it was a slightly more limited release: 2,300 theaters (meanwhile the Marvels or Wish got over 4,000).
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.
