Is "trangender" real? Or a hoax like flat earth?
Is this not the same type of psychological phenomenon? I can't be the only one that has noticed that they seem to have the exact same overall workings.
1.) I can find communities online for (transgenders/flat earthers) where they viciously defend their point of view with word salad that doesn't make any sense, while holding views that contradict direct observations.... but I almost never see such people walking around in the real world.
2.) Every human being on earth knew that these things were totally ridiculous ideas 20 years ago.
3.) It looks like in both movements, there are only a few really "special" people out there that believe it and take it seriously (actually believing the world is flat/actually chopping off their johnson) while the bulk of those involved are simply trolls that know it is a hoax, yet keep the hoax alive by pushing/repeating these ideas.
4.) They are arrogant, and believe that every other person in the world is wrong about things we've known for thousands of years. They think that they possess some new and great information that turns human understanding of the most basic things on its head.
I'll think of more later. But flat earth and transgender seem like very similar social phenomena.

In adults, at best it's usually conflating temperament with biology. At worst, it's psychosis.
For children going through puberty, it's gender dysphoria, which is a not an uncommon diagnosis. In the natural process, it subsides after puberty without needing therapy. What the left is doing is exploiting this and interrupting the process to manifest it in to a delusion.

Look at average trans person,. Hardly any of them are remotely good looking so you know they never got any attention from the opposite sex.
Now they see that people are getting all sorts of praise and attention and what not so magically they say they want to be trans.
What will happen, just like anything else, is it will get lots of visibility and eventually people will just accept it. Then the attention they so love so much will dry up as its no longer special. Once that happens they will magically no longer want to be trans. Just give it a little time to run its course and it will go away.

Flat earth is more plausible because the vast majority of people know the world is round only because they have been told so.
Transgender on the other hand is way Worse because everyone Can clearly see they are wrong.
Believing they are real is the equivalent of a flat earther actually travelling to space, see that the earth is in fact round yet continue to claim that its flat.

Transgender used to be called cross dressing or wearing drag. It was a trend then, and there are truly about 1% of people who call themselves trans who are genuinely feeling like they are the wrong gender.
The other 99% it's because they want attention or an identity, and the community is highly welcoming even for unattractive people, so those with issues relating to others or can't form solid relationships flock to it. Think about all the alphabet crew who consider themselves victims if somebody says something even slightly wrong or politically incorrect. They have never formed the right attachment to self esteem when younger so they have to cling to a false identity when they are older and need constant attention, and negative attention is still attention.
As usual, it's the result of crappy parenting and not actually teaching your kid how to process emotions and deal with issues during puberty.
