is YouTube enforcing the no adblockers thing?

Seems like sometimes it does and other times not.. I use the Brave browser when it does, anyone have any other fixes?

The ads aren't that annoying, you can usually skip most of them after a few seconds

I ended up just accepting I was cucked and paid for premium. smh. I can't handle ads, and don't want to bother with getting a new browser and new ad blockers etc.

I do use the YouTube music stuff at the gym now though.

idk I've just been using chrome for years and it's familiar. Never had a problem using chrome, until YouTube cucked my ad blocker.


Although the idea of breaking away from google sounds nice. But all my emails are gmail accounts so I'm pretty much locked into google anyways.

I had to do that thing to where I updated all my extensions, then purge and update the cashes on uBlock origin on Chrome.

The trick is to hit the refresh button if you sense an ad coming when you start up a video. That always works for me.

Hint: if you see the time bar turn yellow, that means an ad is about to play. This is when you should hit the refresh button so you don't have to suffer through an ad.

Just updated FireFox today and some weird sh!t started happening, had to create a rule to block on this invisible filter that started happening when I'd load the youtube page after I updated FireFox. They made it so you can't scroll down either, but I found a way to get around that as well.

I've been 100% Brave for private use since like 2017 or 2018 when I first invested into their BAT crypto coin. Only reason I have Firefox is because I like to have my private and work tabs separated.

Same. When videos are about to start there is like 1 sec where an ad should play but it somehow then skips to the video. I can tell because the load bar is yellow instead of the normal red for just that one split second.
