I dont really differentiate between the sub genres of metal. Elitists metal heads ruined every bit of that for me. If you were unaware, those of us int he metal community LOVE each other, but we also FUKING HATE each other for your chitty taste in metal. Fukking fix it already. Its all pretty cool until the discussion goes online and people are like "nuh uh!!! The band "Fuked by a chainsaw" is WAYYYY heavier than "Stabwound in my eyes."

Bruh just ignore the negativity. Post 2000 metal is huge in quality, though you do have to dig through some drek to get there. When I don't give a chit how phlaggytime the lyrics can be lol:

This reminds me of Man-o-war. I listrened to them a bit when i was first transitioning from bands like metallica and pantera.
I dunno man. When i listen to some of the newer stuff, it feels like the newest generation sees themselves as more of a boy band that plays instruments then stereotypical metal artists. Like...WTF is electric callboy? who tf listens to that?
