Rescued a doggo on the interstate (Pic)
TLDR at bottom
Headed home from doing alittle Holiday shopping pulling off the interstate on my small town exit and I notice traffic slowing down. Get up a head and there is a dog walking around the ramp.
Its pouring down rain and its acting super skiddish. All the other jolly asśhole drivers are swerving around him. The dog then got scared and jumped out in front of the vehicle in front of me, nearly hitting him at like 30mph.
I stopped.. stopping traffic and carefully coerced him to my truck. He was too scared to jump in, so I slowly bear hugged him into my truck. Of course the wet dog smelled like absolute ****.
I immediately recognize the dog. It belongs to the neighbor to a buddy of mine.. She is a worthless, white trash, single mother that probably neglects the dog bc I’ve been visiting my friend we’ve had to stop it from going on the main highway by my buddy’s house more times than I can count..
So long story short, there’s a foster rescue dog outreach center near where I found him.
Told them I found him on the interstate and I don’t know the owners.
Maybe he’ll find a better home
TLDR
-found dog on interstate
-recognized who he belonged to
-owner is an irresponsible white trash sloot
-have had to rescue this dog many times before
-dropped it off at a foster outreach center telling them I found him on the interstate and didnt know the owners
-hopefully it’ll find a better home

That's happened to me countless times. Isn't it disheartening returning the poor pupper to an irresponsible owner?
*Look at reflection in car window and flex every time crew*
*Use half the roll to wipe after a poo crew*
*Fart in the gym and blame rotten smell on faulty ventilation crew*
*Fart at home and blame it on the dog crew*
*Watch neutron-star density poop mock me as water flushes around it and it stays put crew*
*Drive 2 minutes in the summer and back of shirt gets completely wet crew*
*Coffee black as midnight on a moonless night crew*
*Fat shame my cat on a daily basis crew*

This way that’s avoided and hopefully the doggo will find a new owner.. but will most likely end up with the same bitch

Man, I hate seeing owners treat their dogs like chit.
Hate to break it to you brah but if he's chipped then he'll get returned to that bish.
No chance you could keep it yourself?
Next time, ask relatives/friends you know will look after him well before going the foster centre way.

You did a good thing OP, but I am going to give you my opinion....
Sounds like you put your life at risk (interstate and rain).
My friend did this this Summer and the F-ing thing ripped her lip off and she had a puncture wound just below her eye.
You could have been run over or other.
But repping you since it worked out. Things to think about next time.
