Voted 5-4 but 6-3 is my official prediction. Kagan, Sotomayor and Jackson will dissent. I don’t see Roberts voting with the liberals on this. So Trump will be allowed to run and be placed on the ballot in all 50 states.

After all that has gone on let's just say nothing would shock me
The constitution of the United States to most these days is nothing but a old piece of paper that is ignored.
Personal opinion and bias supercedes little things like the constituon and justice .
We all should be praying that Trump wins. Even if you were /are not a Trump supporter everyone should be against what is happening

The POTUS is elected by the states, and I'm 100% for the states having leverage over the process. And if Colorado and Maine didn't adhere to the process now the SC may play their role and define the roadmap for exactly what the process is, which can only be a good thing gong forward.

2 things:
1) The appeals process will likely delay any election-related case until after the election. Trump will remain on the ballot throughout the appeals process, effectively mooting any issue. The Court loves to say "issue is moot, we aren't taking the case" so this is a likely outcome.
2) Even if the SCOTUS gets and rules on the case before any relevant election, they will tailor their ruling to be as narrow as possible; i.e. in Colorado they will review if the applicable Colorado law is Constitutional and if Colorado followed the process laid out in the state law. If so, the ruling will stand, if not, overturned.
The SCOTUS won't be ruling on if Trump is eligible for the ballot, they'll be ruling on if the state laws and application of state laws that removed him from individual ballots are Constitutional.

In Colorado, at least one of the parties in the original lawsuit challenging Trump being on the ballot was a Republican.
I know people cope by claiming these aren't "real" Republicans, but there are plenty of conservatives who are disgusted by Trump's bullchit.

Can you even name any extreme positions that MAGA Republicans have?
I can name more than a few coming from the left.

I don't even know how you can discuss party politics when the title is so meaningless.

It's all virtue signaling theater. The states trying to block Trump form being on the ballot will get shot down by SCOTUS and the election will go on.

It reminds me a bit of not agreeing with Joe Biden makes you not black.
I think myself and many others see Trump's incessant, unsupported election denying rhetoric as unAmerican and not at all "conservative".

They are voting against good policy to obstruct Trump.I dont know how many other ways I can be more clear about this lol

I'll concede that out of 250 or however many Republican legislators and senators there had to be a few that were simply "orange man bad". The rest of it is Trump being a chitty CEO with shallow, one-liner ideas that couldn't garner enough support.

Too much focus on pronouns and diversity and victimhood instead of some of the basic stuff like securing the border.
