Are theories on consciousness just pure cope?
SRS
Consciousness just seems your brain realising ''ok, i'm in that body. cool''
The moment you just get phucked on some pharma drugs or any drugs like party drug or even roids, you become somebody else due to hormonal imbalance that your brain is trying to deal wi.
You get dementia, and you are like a plant, consciousness goes out of this ass
Is just all this theory on consciousness being some cosmic energy or something just pure esoteric cope?

Consciousness is the product of all of our biological and neurological systems.
It isn’t something in us that is separate from us or some specific characteristic we have.

I don't understand how people separate consciousness from the body when it's been proven that severe frontal lobe damage caused permanent personality changes. Seems that if this consciousness was a separate entity, the person would still behave the same regardless of changes to the brain.
I'm back, bitches!
