Would MSM turn pro-republican if the Democrats were anti-war?

Consider the scenario Democrats wanted to stop funding to any and all wars. No more conflicts, no more proxy wars, but Republicans were 100% fired up for a a blank check to ukraine and Israel. Oh, let's not forget some more bombing in Iran.

On that note, carefully consider MSM coverage on Nikki Haley going into the next election.

and the Republicans drop the populism and go back to being neocons,

The Democrats spent 20+ years claiming they were anti-war/against being the world police, over the actions of Bush 43, right up until the Ukraine thing, even though Obama continued all of Bush's foreign policy ideas. The media was well on their side at that time as well. What makes you think the media cares, or would ever start caring, about policy issues over party affiliation/liberals vs. conservatives?
