Yeah. You never know what to believe they come out with new evidence or suspects on jack the ripper every couple lf years too just to sell books.

Still usually an interesting read just out of curiosity of nothing else

Allegedly the feds stopped pursuing the case because they public stopped caring. But supposedly they know the guy who did it but didn't have enough evidence to convict him but did raid his house in Washington.

Yeah, that's why they close cases. Public opinion.

Wonder what Einstein came up with that one.

It's a good unique story. Guy is a tall, slender well dressed professional business. Guy made a bomb threat, but never was mean or harmed anyone, acted professonal. He got his money all slick like, then jumped out of the back of the plane. Yes, jumping out the back of a plane going that fast is survivable especially if you know what you are doing, but it could be fatal if he wasn't prepared. Back then here were a lot of guys that were trained how to jump out of planes, WWII, Korean war vets. They haven't found anything except a few of the $20 bills but only some.

My theory is he survived, and he dropped some of the money when he landed but he made it. He was a smart man obviously, and he knew they knew the serial numbers of the bills and knew he goofed so he decided to lay low for a while, and something happened to him while he was laying low. Perhaps they only said the bills were marked or the serial numbers were recorded but they really weren't. No doubt, one day someone is going to find a huge stack of money somewhere.
