I agree, the writing is chit and the cast is retarded. There is nothing believable about them being special ops or whatever they were in army aside from Reacher and even he seems off this season. First season went way harder. Having a hard time getting through this season.

I haven't been looking forward to the next episodes but I'll probably finish the season. Definitely not as good as season 1.

I've actually enjoyed it more or less, didn't think much of it being woke or Muh-Diversity (as someone pointed out, s1 was a teamup w/ chick and Harvard black guy). Even whats her face, the black chick, I found her annoying s1 but much less s2 (beyond the constant, "YOURE SO GREAT, THE SMARTEST, BEST, ETC") ego-feeding she gets, but whatever.

The whole backstory for the whole "you don't mess with the special investigators" is the cringiest chit I've ever seen on a large scale streaming production. This is really syfy level writing.

The show was a working a lot better when the main character was doing most of the heavy lifting. His first sarge is insufferable.

The first season was so good and I was looking forward to the new one but so far it's corny and boring af. Really lacks the charm and mystery of the first season.

They upped the anti with not one but two girl bosses.

And chicks in the military are absolutely useless. None can pull their own weight let alone do any heavy lifting.

I haven't watched the newest episode but it's mostly "watch on my iPad while I'm food prepping" type of show. Anytime I've sat down to actually watch it I'm usually like oh chit this show is pretty bad why am I wasting my time right now


This scene really pretty much sums it up lmao, my favorite is when all of a sudden there's a motorcycle driving at them with a dude swinging a chain. Hilarious in it's own right, then the camera angle shows how they were about 5 ft from driving directly into a wall.

Prolly because of the gamepass type feel/quality to it.

The only reason you dislike season 1 is because it's not in the first person and not a mindless shooter flick like John Wick. You suck and season 1 was fantastic. Every day from now on I'm gonna thank God I'm not a boringcel like you and your new buddies Crimson and Jay.

I just finished episode 6 and couldn't believe what I sat through.

They really dumbed this season down and every opportunity the characters get to act like morons is fully utilized.

Also, I know the titties in season 1 weren't great but goddam it at least they managed to shoehorn them in, they couldn't at least get that right this season?

K I'm gonna say this. The actress doesn't have the best teddies but she is hot af. I've seen her in other shows too and God damn.

It's sad they didn't bring her back and instead are propping up this old chick. Also, I agree this new season is really dumbed down. Reacher doesn't act like Reacher anymore and it just doesn't have the heart and soul like Season 1. I really miss the old characters, the new ones suck and the plot has been boring and derivative.

I liked it but I can recognize that it's very mid tier all across the board. Season 2 is almost insultingly bad, refer to video I posted of one of the worst fights scenes in modern TV.

PS, I don't like the John wick movies. I do like the raid movies, because that's world class fight choreography, lol at watching Keanu reeves lazily hip throw 1500 henchman per movie. The last movie is so Fkn lazy he's just running around lifting his bullet proof suit over his face to cover any type of combat related plot holes.


Modern combat in movies has grown to next levels. Lazy TV fights like the ones in reacher s2 simply are insulting to me as a viewer, feels like they legit aren't trying at all, or simply think their viewers are just retarded.

The first part of your post makes me sad man lol. Mid tier? Have you seen TV shows these days? Most of them are awful. I had so much fun with Season 1. Is it Ozark or Game of Thrones Season 1 quality, absolutely not but it was charming, fun and had some really cool character interactions. By no means was it great but it was incredibly satisfying to me. Mystery, characters and a good storyline with some comedy elements in between. I know you place a huge emphasis on combat but for a first season I felt like it was pretty good.

I never said I didn't enjoy it. I liked it.

Two things can be true, it's mid tier and also enjoyable.

I only put a focus on fight choreo because it's a show that follows a pretty simple formula, and part of that formula is including fights in every episode. Soooo of you are going to do that, make them good. If you're going to include nudity in the show, no reason you can't include some gritty ultraviolence instead of the type of stuff you'd see on cable TV.


Idk go watch something like the punisher on Netflix, brilliant fight choreo, tons of violence that made you really feel those fights, obviously r rated. There was almost no instances of blatant stupitidy to further the plot (like a bunch of bikers in reacher, riding insanely loud motorcycles, but don't want to shoot their guns to make noise lmao - so Fkn stupid).

I don't expect every show to be as violent as the punisher, but I do expect fights that aren't insultingly bad to me as a viewer.

I mean when I've seen stuff like this how can I not think something like reacher is just straight up nickelodeon by comparison

Season 2 fights seemed forced. Like every episode has to have a fight scene in it. Hell they enter a bar, walk into a back hallway and all of sudden fight scene time. Way toooo forced.

Even in the latter slump it was still better than the rest of their garbage and it never derailed into forced, "woke" mental illness, either. In fact, right from the start it was already diverse in a perfectly organic manner thatcomplementedthe world and world building.
