Homeowners, what is your utility bill looking like?

Location: Colorado

My average bill is ~$220 for the year, however in the cold months it shoots up into the $300s. My last bill was $316.

Home square footage is 3400.

My average bill is $115 for the year for water and electric. Use wood for heat.

around 190/month in WNY for electric and gas for 1500 sqft ranch.

i think my state is the most expensive for electricity. (hawaii)

i lease a ~600sqft place and pay like 250/month to turn on the lights and have the AC on for 10 hours/day

Mid $400s in the summer. 3000sqft in GA will do that. Mid 100s now thanks to new LP fireplace.

Hydro(Electric) $120-150
Gas $150 in the winter, like $40 in the spring and summer
Water/Sewage $250 but billed every 2nd month
money, cars, clothes and hoes is all a miscer knows

I pay $120-$250 for electric and $25-$200 for gas depending on the time of year. Water runs around $40/month, sanitation is ~50, trash/sewer is $100/month

Location: SE Virginia, 3400sq ft, 2 zone system(one gas furnace, one heat pump), gas water heater

Ontario as well. 3000 square foot house. Hydro is about $200, Gas is about $300 because of winter and also that stupid carbon tax that our government is molesting every Canadian with. Of our gas bill, almost 50% is taxes because they tax on top of the taxes they already have.

Gas goes up in the winter cause of heat and electric goes up in the summer cause of A/C.

I've not looked in a while, but I think it's 200-300, even though it's a 23ksqft house. I have solar and ground source heat pumps, which completely handle the heating when it's cold and the A/C when it's hot, with a bit left over.

When you remove heating and A/C, the bills don't really scale with the size of the property.
Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!

The only dangerous thing about an exercise is the person doing it.

They had the technology to rebuild me. They made me better, stronger, faster......

Usually in the summer it’s about $100 for gas and electric. Had a few months over 200 this year

Most recent was $155 which is probably a 20%+ increase from years past

Same ballpark. Low 200s in winter. Low 400s when the acs cranking all summer.

Doubleish what the bill was precovid.

Elec: $80-140$ a month (with a tesla baby)
Water: a **** load lol in summers months. probably $200 a month average? not sure

California

Average bill through the year is $250 while NEVER running AC/Heat - this is just lights (all LED's), Gas for cooking, gas for water heater (brand new, very efficient)

In winter (it was 35deg this morning) I have to run the heater, otherwise house gets down to 58degrees inside. So with running the heater for strictly 1HR every morning as I get ready, my bill goes up to $330.

According to PG&E I'm basically 1/3 more efficient than other homes in my area so most people are in the >$400's

Then I get to drive to work on roads in terrible condition even though we pay multiple different tax increases to improve road quality, and pay close to the highest gas prices in the country. I pay a huge state income tax also....oh and almost 10% sales tax after the government has already taken 50% of my money.

If I wasn't making a lot of money, and my job could be done somewhere else, I would have been long gone.
