Why do some miscers care so much about reps and negs?

Sometimes I just mention reps and negs and people will freak out. Like they will neg me for just mentioning it or suddenly appear like a jackal and yell at me for it.

This isn’t healthy behavior. Just chill out it’s the misc.

The vast majority of avid forum, social media & video game users suffer from legitimate anxiety issues. They live in virtual worlds as a way to protect themselves from the rampant pressures they feel with real life interaction & close interpersonal relationships. They can also pick & choose the way in which they project themselves onto others. For many, their virtual persona is more far important to them than their real life persona; their virtual persona is actively utilized while their real life persona is stuffed away in a dark closet. For folks like you and I ScapeGoat, reps & negs mean very little. For others, its their entire world.
