Entirely dependent on the person, but lecturer/academic/researcher is really under rated.


Paid to research and teach something you are passionate about and would do anyway even if you didn't have to work, some of the best travel perks of any job, high salary, own private office, and the feeling you have mogged 99.999% of the world in terms of intelligence and education.



Some might say medical doctor is better but doctors work crazy long hours and work/life balance goes out the window. I had a friend who was a doctor who committed suicide from a stress induced episode.
