I don't think its necessarily some grand conspiracy or inside knowledge of impending catastrophe.

I just think its the ultra-wealthy with more money than they can spend dropping cash in another space (being prep).

These people have God complex's, a heightened awareness of their own mortality, and the resources to prolong their demise as much as possible.

I remember being a kid (13 years old in 2007) and seeing similar stories on the news/hearing them from my dad. I have distinct memories of like a discovery documentary on the uber wealthy building bunkers/compounds and they were tying it to the 2012 Mayan end of world scenario

this. the nut job with 100,000 rounds of ammo, a homemade shelter, iodine tablets, and silver rounds will live what, 6 more months?, 2 years? Is it even worth it in a true end of world scenario where its total chit? I'd rather be dead then live an extra year in that reality. and I'd rather enjoy my time now then dump all my resources/free time into prep for this.

I'm not saying don't prep at all, not have an emergency plan, don't arm yourself. but some of these people take it way too far

I think its becoming more and more realistic scenario that society is close to cracking to the point of no return.

Normies no longer respect or believe in their country or government and that is a very dangerous thing.

The US is a few more domestic incidents from going full Purge-societal break down mode.

This will in no doubt trigger some sort of world war 3.

I think they’re just doing eccentric stuff that rich people have always done.

I’m conservative, but people on the right are almost as guilty as people on the left at being doomsayers when the other side is in power.

I’ve had emergency supplies for years now because I was sold that we were going to have massive food shortages. That never happened. Though not the most robust, we’ve been told that our economy is the worst it’s been since the late 70s and we’re headed to another depression, yet it keeps chugging along. Hell, the business I own is in the service industry, and 2023 was the most profitable it’s ever been. There’s several factors that goes into that, but the economy isn’t hurting it. Except for realtors, I don’t know a single person who’s job or business is suffering because of the economy, and I’m in California.

People on the right are predicting something catastrophic orchestrated by the left will be coming in 2024 to steal the election, without seeing that the plan has been carried out already. 10s of Millions of illegal aliens will all be voting for Biden this year.
