One interesting thing I noticed about reps and negs

They are supposed to reflect the quality of the poster in a myriad of ways. Helpfulness, content, information.

But man I see some guys with a ton of reps and I figure out what they did to get them all. On the flip side, I’ve seen some reds say some very poignant or hilarious things and I think man they need some greens.

Reminds me of the U.S. government. A lot of people in power that use their position to enrich themselves. The system is broken.

I've been negged more than anyone in misc/RP history despite many 5-star threads.

There was a time when most miscers had only 1-5K rep power and negs from repmonsters actually hurt.

Now with rep inflation negs are meaningless. And yet butt-sore American conservatards still neg me.

Same thing with money, power, position. You would think wealth would be for smart, hard working, talented individuals. Position would be for those who earned it by doing things right. Power would be for those best to have the power. Nope, not even close.

Look at Washington DC as a prime example.
