Some of the deals they're listing are insane, but I'd be seriously wary about repair costs going forward

My last 3 cars have been from either hertz or enterprise. No major problems. The only thing I had to do on my most recent one was replace the battery and that cost less than $200. Surprisingly good deal on cars if you can find the right one.

Anyway there have been a few times where EV was all that was left by time I arrived so I had to take it and switch it out the following morning. The Teslas were capped at 70mph (in Arizona no less where 75 is the speed limit out of town). No thanks Jeff.

I wouldn't be worried about buying them because they're rental cars, I'd be wary about buying these very discounted Teslas while the company is offloading them citing the high repair costs and what you might deal with in the future if you end up in a fender bender or with a cracked windshield etc

I've put like 80,000km on rental trucks myself through work, got no issue buying used rentals personally just the dynamics with the repair costs on these things and why they're so cheap

EVs as rentals always seemed awful idea. rental cars are on the go and EVs need downtime. hybrid would be ok.

Had a BMW i4 EV, only one I'd consider because of how long they've been building them

3 months later, out of that and into a Mustang GT
