Ruth's Chris experience

I recently got the chance to go, and I have to say everything was incredible except if you go, order the steak rare or med rare.

I order mine medium and it's served on a hot 500 degree sizzling plate which looks and sounds cool but it overcooked my steak. When I go back I'll order it med rare.

Ruth's Cris is terrible. They put like 5 gallons of butter on their steaks along with smothering it with black pepper. Their mash potatoes are also half butter, half potato. The funny thing is, everything that's not their steak is pretty good. Their seared ahi was delicious.

It's an okay entry level steakhouse. Obviously much better than peasant spots like Texas Roadhouse or Longhorn, but there are better places than RC. Srs, vry srs.

Nope, tried there a few times at 2 different locations. Both were guilty of using too much butter and pepper. Funny thing is the best steaks I've had were at non steakhouses.

It's good, but we have a top tier steakhouse in the city that mogs everything. I must be poverty because I tried bananas foster for the first time at this restaurant. Hands down the best dessert I've ever had in my life. If any of you brahs haven't had it, go do it asap.
