What is your idea of eating healthy?

I simplified it down to eating:

rice, veg and meat; and only drinking water.

Try to aim for 2:1 rice/veg to meat, err on the side of less meat.

That is healthy, however closely you can adhere to that is your business.

you are all entirely wrong and misinformed.

you can eat whatever the hell you want and more of it provided you increase 3 things in tandem, excercise, nutrient intake so vegetables and water.

there is no other way to be healthy. inhibiting certain foods is the stupidest most ill-informed outdated backwards way to be healthy. its akin to having a personal trainer for your diet.

I just count. Food is not good or bad. Everything has stats. Just read the stats and adjust your intake depending on your goals.

During the week days I eat chicken, yams, green beans and bone broth. Sometimes I'll have some almonds. Just started making green smoothies again too. I use frozen blueberries, 2% greek yogurt, apple, banana, spinach and chia seeds. I drink water all day except for a cup of green matcha tea and a cup of white tea in the morning. To me, eating healthy is whole foods that you cook yourself.

Healthy for me is eating grass fed red meat, chicken and eggs as the staple of my diet. That's what humans have been eating since the dawn of time. Packed full of nutrients with no harmful fillers found in most processed foods.

LOL that isn't true though.

2000 calories of steak, eggs (Big Poppa style) and salad aren't going to be as nourishing as 2000 calories of cake.

The rice is suggested mainly because it's a "binding agent" for the poop.

I suggest trying prune juice, ded srs, had a serious chronic constipation issue and quit eating pizzas and junk foods and introduced a lot of fiber and prune juice as well as 1 magnesium pill before bed. By the time I'm up, I have to go almost right away, drop a huge, super soft load of foot long stools and I wipe ass/get off the can within 10 min.

I'd do quarter cup, then half cup, etc... and just move up in the amount of prune juice slowly because you don't want to sh!t yourself.

Not just talking calories brah. What I mean is, you can eat a slice of cake for sure. A slice of cake has stats, (micros and macros). The cake itself is not inherently good or bad. But how does that slice of cake fit into your overall nutritional goals? Plenty of people can fit a slice of cake not skip a beat unless you’re on an extreme cut

it literally is though, both on my above factually and only one so in the entire thread post. you can eat whatever you want, so long as you supplement with the required nutrition via vegtables

the 'side effects' of eating 2000 calories of cake are likely due to nutrient deficienies from lack of vegtables and inability to process. your body is not intentionally biologically or evolutionarily going to waste 2000 calories

Meat n taters, lots of greens, rice, I also eat quite a bit of red meat, also add in milk and shakes as needed.

I meal prep and weight up, divide into courses and make sure I eat them. Anything else is a surplus.

Regarding junk food, a piece of cake still has consequences whether it's once or a million times.

I'm not suggesting I myself eat like a saint, trust me when I say I'm far from it.

What I'm saying is meat, rice and vegetables are the healthiest that a person could possibly eat.

And furthermore a mixture of rice and vegetables at least twice as much (or more) than the protein you consume.

In other words protein requirements are BS or exaggerated, people are also accustomed to eating way too much protein, which I believe is also not good.

The not mentioning dairy for example because dairy is known to form mucus and that is NOT good for anyone.

Vegetables really aren't all that healthy for humans. They have toxins and anti-nutriient properties that attack the disgestive system.

I'm sure you've heard of Jordan Peterson. His daughter had a host of medical problems, and they all went away when she went to a full grass-fed red meat diet. Humans aren't meant to eat greens in large quantities.

Drinking water, eating animal proteins (meat, dairy and pasture-raised eggs) getting veggies regularly, mixing green drinks, and staying tf away from any unsaturated fats. I'm iffy on monounsaturated fats at the moment.

fyi legz some new weekly report says you can't mix bananas with blueberries. Bananas have some compound that negates the effects of the antioxidants in the blueberries. I'm sure there will be different studies in a month or whatever, but for now maybe put some avocado in that smoothie instead of a banana. Also that smoothie sounds sweet as fuk, you should put some bitter stuff in it.

I've tried them all, depends on the time of year and how I'm feeling and at this point I know my body well enough to go by feeling

lose fat/weight - high fat, high protein, low carb, lots of green leafy something or amazing grass/something similar downside is I start looking flat after a certain point and my body doesn't feel great so...
gain weight/be lean and feel good - High carb, moderate fat, moderate protein, lots of green leafy something or amazing grass/something similar

Just don't drink too much soda, and you should be good unless you eat like a pig. But if you burn more calories than you eat, then that's all that matters.
