Etc.

What do you use your drone for? Feels like a poor man’s helicopter, but still so amazing. Great pictures anytime you go anywhere.

My kid got a protensic for xmas and busted it up fast (after I busted it up first). So I did the responsible thing and bought a DJI 4 mini pro (idiot resistant model), and he will learn respect. Joking aside, how do you use yours?

Inb4 war tools and spy machines.

^ fuk that chit, it’s a legitimately awesome tool to capture videos and pictures of nature and life that needs to be acknowledged for it’s capabilities.

I’ve always wanted one, but every time you turn around there’s more laws yet . There’s an awesome place I like to take photos at in the forest , but I’m not sure where the line is drawn between national park and crown land .
If we get caught in a national park it’s a 25K fine . Takes all the fun out of it imo .
A 249 gram would be ok , but I’d like one to hold a real camera at times . Guess I’ll never know though . Btw I’m in BC Canada, your laws may differ

All of the normie models are 249. I’m not at the point where I would need more than that, but I don’t sell my videos to any companies for profit, and subsequently, it does not matter what I record apart from personal things. Some of the drones at the shop were wild, probably weighed more than a chick at Applebees. Huge fukers. Not sure why anyone would buy one in the suburbs, but there’s always that guy.

Edit: just read, those are for agricultural use/pesticides.

The reason they aren't allowed in national parks is because national parks are taxpayer funded places, and not everyone wants to be forced to deal with that chit when they're out in nature.

But yes, they are a great tool, for sure. Just pointing out the rhyme to the reason of the other side of it.

Not really , it’s all about disturbing the animals in their natural habitat. Too many rules here or I’d have one

If it's only about not disturbing animals, then why are you able to fly them in wooded areas away from national parks, but not within the parks? That makes no sense.

If people could fly drones in the Grand Canyon as random hobbyists not working for the government or in a liscensed deal with them or something, the place would be a total chit show. It's already a zoo there the way it is. Can't imagine what it'd be like when third group of fuktards were bringing drones in with them on top of everything else.
