Now we see farms being shut, rants of needing to meet a climate agenda - history seems to be repeating its self and for the same reason - absolute control.

My wife and I run a small farm, in Utah it is easy so long as you keep your production under certain thresholds. If you are a mid-sized farm I wouldn't even try to make money, everything benefits commercial scale farms now. The way they run their operations is usually gross af. Personally I would never eat meat from a supermarket again, the amount of micro plastics, hormones, chemicals, antibiotics, etc.. you consume eating meat from a commercial farm is staggering, no wonder there are so many low-test soyboys today.
