I work at home every single day since the pandemic started

Commuting sucks I realized that when I stay at my girls house in the suburbs siting in bumper to bumper traffic for 45 mins on the way back to my place to work in the A.M

I've been working from home the past week because I'm snowed in where I live. I would say in the past 6 days I have gotten maybe 1 and a half days worth of work done.

My computers at my office are bigger and I like desktop more than working on my laptop

I have to go in 3x/week now. Don't even care, tbh. I actually got sick of spending 4-5 work days/week rotting in my bedroom/"office" (even though WFH obviously has some legit benefits/conveniences) and spending way too much time MISCing.

I only have like a 6-7 mile drive though, if I had a chit commute I'd feel differently.

I went into my office today and saw a woman I haven't seen in almost 4 years, she has had an office next to me for 3 years, we moved during the demic.

Nothing is surprising anymore. I showered and shaved, warmed up the car, got dressed up, drove in, paid $4 to park, had a blistering cold walk to my office, opened one piece of snail mail, met one person for 5 minutes then drove home.

Even though it was cold AF the sun was shining, that did a little something for me. Feel like a slug WFH
