What if the ancient builders near top of the Pyramids had to drop a deuce?

Dude is near the top with only a few more stones to go and his stomach is rumbling with not much time. Lets say lunch didn't agree with him, how did ancient people go to the bathroom?

Did he tell shift supervisor Joe he was taking a break and climb down several hundred feet or did he just let it rip from the top? Or would he have faced consequences from the Pharaoh for leaving his post?

Or did his wife pack an extra loin cloth in his lunch box?

What do you think the bathroom policy was for ancient people, especially pyramid builders? Were they allowed to leave to take care of business or were they forced to relieve themselves where ever they were?

Why do you think the sides are sloped? You can still see the poop chutes to this day.
