Think this is climbing the ladder and political on the prisectuons part because Baldwin is a big name.hollywood actor or just cause to pursue it?

He knew it was a real gun. You can tell picking up any gun if it's loaded. Bullets are very heavy.

While he may have thought it was loaded with blanks he was still horseplaying with a loaded gun. He's still an idiot that killed someone unintentionally. Just like if you run someone over with your car. If you back out of a driveway and smush your 5yo because you didn't see them there's still going to be charges.

Obviously its a stupid witch hunt because of political and personal reasons. Its idiotic to think he has any blame, they had hired experts on set to prepare the gun.

If you’ve never handled guns you wouldn’t know the appropriate weight. He’s been a rich and famous actor for decades, living in posh and safe neighborhoods. Why would he know what a loaded, real gun feels like?

The armorer is responsible for all weapons safety. That’s their job, and they failed. I don’t like Alec, but he’s not responsible for this.

That's bullchit. It's a revolver. Not only is the weight significantly different you can see the bullets physically present in the cylinder.

I hate Baldwin because of his politics and personality. But rationally, this was absolutely not his fault. It's entirely on the armorer- the blonde airhead who was in charge of the firearms on set.

The production literally hired an "expert" to ensure the firearms on set were safe. She was supposed to make sure there weren't even live rounds on the set. There are times when the actors will absolutely be pointing the weapons at each other during filming. The armorer's job is to make sure they can worry about acting the scene and not whether or not the gun is dangerous.

TLDR: they hired a professional race car driver to manage the driving scenes on the set, and that person told an actor to steer right into a crowd of bystanders. There's absolutely no reason to pin this on anyone but the expert who failed to keep everyone alive.

Trying to figure out how the actor could be considered culpable in the slightest here, could be because he was one of the producers? Apparently the set was a chit show with two previous misfires. Armorer was also charged with tampering evidence after the shooting handing off a small bag of coke.

Imagine that someone gives you a gun and tells you to point it at someone and pull the trigger. This guy did it without even bothering to check if it was loaded. thats just nuts. Thats a true liberal there for you. This is a lesson kids learn when they are like 4 years old or something like that.

He didn’t shoot an actress. He shot a director who was behind the camera telling him to aim the gun at the camera and shoot.


I don’t really think this is Baldwin’s fault but the part that pisses me off the most is that he went on national tv and adamantly insisted that he “never pulled the trigger.”

It’s such an obvious lie that it’s making me root against him
