New Threadripper Build

Will be moving over my pair of RTX A6000's, power supply, and a couple SSD's from my existing Threadripper 3960x system.

I mostly make Deepfakes, which is more intensive on the GPU's than the CPU, but there are portions of the process that involves ripping png's from video files, encoding videos etc that will easily use all your cores. I think the 3960x is bottlenecking even 1 A6000, let alone 2 of them, so this should speed up my model training. Plus the DDR5 will be a nice boost. I've had the 3960x for like 4 years, so it's time to upgrade. I can probably still sell the 3960x w/board and RAM for a fair amount to cover some of the upgrade cost.

Yeah I haven't done deep fake stuff or anything like that but I do use the topaz video and photo ai program for up scaling stuff and it works the cpu hard af, I have a 5950x.

Yeah I need to get a copy of that software. In the past I had kinda lousy performance from Topaz software but I hear they've pretty well made the AI video stuff idiot proof. I've seen a lot of channels on YT uploading Star Trek stuff upgraded from 480p to 1080p or even 4k and it looks quite good.

Yeah the last one I did was an MSI TRX40 Creator board for like $750. The WRX80 stuff is equally nuts.
