WWE Raw moves to Netflix: in 2025
Netflix will become the new home of WWE Raw next year. Monday Night Raw will begin streaming exclusively on Netflix in the U.S., Canada, U.K. and Latin America, among other territories, beginning January 2025.

Interesting. I see the benefit for Netflix but not sure I see the benefits for WWE.

I don't get how so many people are watching wrestling when they haven't created any new stars in 20 years and all the shows are the same format

WWE never ends. It's a weekly event and - if you enjoy it, or if your kids enjoy it - you have to see what happens. seeing highlights the next day doesn't work for people who love it.
there isn't much else out there with no offseason that has an audience of millions.

Its a change in behavior I believe will have some growing pains. Will people remember RAW is on Netflix? You know how many times I forgot TNF was on Prime because I didn't see it scrolling through the channels? Out of site out of mind, especially if its the same old boring thing. Hopefully it means no more censored "holy chit" chants and a little more edginess not having to comply with FCC regulations
