Any of you watching Godzilla Minus One again in Black & White?

Got my ticket to see it again tomorrow, this time in Black & White. This gon be my 2nd time watching it, and the theater I’m going to has alcoholic beverages hehe. So stoked. This movie is a whole experience. If you haven’t seen it yet, now is your chance to see it in Black & White.

Is it like an artsy fartsy thing to watch it in black and white? Did the director intend the movie to be best viewed that way?

Nope, Godzilla is definitely a movie you shouldn't see on a big screen......

100% yes. Come back and neg me if you didn’t think it was worth it in theater lol. I guarantee it’s worth it though. It’s made for a big screen and loud speakers.

yeah that’s part of it. The original 1954 Godzilla movie was black/white, so it’s partially paying homage to that. And the director for this film also wanted to create an un-colored version of this film because of the different aesthetic to it versus with color; it’s apparently more “horrifying.”

It was only the best movie of 2023, and so many of you would rather see it on a flat screen or some kind of tablet......

Agree with Deputy Dawg here. Godzilla was outstanding from the story to the acting to the effects. Plus it had freaking Godzilla.

See it in the theaters boyos.

Godzilla was the best movie I’ve seen since Top Gun. So glad I saw it on the big screen.

I will prolly skip the black and White version but I’ll definitely watch it again at home.

I loved it. Was extremely well made. hoolywood could not have made it as good. Godzilla would have been a transtesticle. Srs.
