There is an unspoken thing, we are iron brothers and sisters, we are to support each other and...It is our duty to support our brothers and sisters in the iron game!

If you alternate heavy and light days it's more efficient.

But most people won't have the time to do thousands of push-ups per day. Although you can easily add weight by having someone sit on your shoulders, elevate your legs, wall push ups, one arm push ups, clapping push ups, etc.

30 sets of 1 would be stupid. I've become a fan of 5x3 and 4x6 lately for compounds.

After over 14 years of lifting and extensive research I have determined that the best approach for maximum aesthetics is 3.5 sets of 8.571428571428571

I like doing the system where you do like 8 reps, then 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 etc.... Today I did 9-down pull ups, 18-down push ups, and 9-down pistol squats.

You'd make more gains doing 10x3 at 80% of 1 RM (starting point)
