i am working on the laptop but have one eye on the 65" so attention span is 70%

so far just a lack of real character development and the scenes and plot seem hurried.

i don't mind a slow or long movie if it's interesting. but it isn't..

and not 1 likeable character either

legends of the fall, now that is a movie

i think i am in around 2hrs now

the middle is better and it's only now just starting to get interesting

i've noticed they've been using some low volume fast beating music in most scenes to give you that feeling that something is happening... when nothing was for the first hour

2 solid actors in the court scene - and then it just cuts to some field scene. wtf

man i don't think i could have watched this in the cinema

I honestly thought it was about 90 minutes while I was watching it. Same thing with films like Fanny & Alexander, The Good The Bad & The Ugly, The Insider etc-they are long, but seem a normal length because you get so engrossed in them.

I started at like 1pm and ended at like 6 pm

it was like 2am when it finished so i didn't pay attention/understand to that last scene of them in what looked like a show, and then the people flower scene. i might need to rewatch the last 20mins

but yeah. it sucked hard or a Leo movie - probably his worst
