Why do people struggle with dating and settling down?

I'm not even sure if people can relate to each other being so superficial all the time, women and men are being turned against each other on Instagram/Reddit. I've seen women have resorted to calling men incels for absconding their duties as a traditional man. I think Instagram has made be bitter so I think it's time to stay off Instagram, what I'd like to ask misc is they prefer to live offline where people are much real and grounded...

Dating being F'd, has to do with women ruining cold approach almost entirely IRL by making men worried they'll get labeled as weird creeps and cancelled via the internet, maybe even in brutal viral fashion, just for daring to try asking a girl to go out with him on a date. So now, 99.9% of dating stems from online dating (the absolute wretched bowels of the dating world in every sense of the word), and super low hanging fruit like meeting them through work or mutual friends.

Can those latter options work? Yes, but not everyone wants to resort to that to find dates, especially through their jobs. Finding them through friends requires the right friends, and a good luck with timing. It's all so heavily chance based, and requires mixing your dating life with other parts of your life you may very well not want to. That makes the options a lot more limited when it's all so much about swiping right and luck through pre-established social connections.

I mean, are any of you actively working on emotional regulation on a regular basis? Is your S/O doing it? Do you do it together? This is no for most people.

You can still cold approach, majority of miscers meet girls through cold approach at the supermarket or ice cream parlor or just randomly on the streets or at the zoo.

Dunno brah. Different mentalities I guess. Iโ€™ve wanted to settle down since I was 18 srs. Never had any interest in the early period of adulthood. I value family, stability, comfort and that entails one woman, kids, a home, etc.

So on saturday night I was chatting to this 21 year old girl, she wanted me to go back to hers to smash, but my mate was told that she had been ran through by 6 guys since Christmas and it's not even the end of Jan. Suffice to say I parred it off and did not smash.

Its extremely rare just to find a woman worth while.. and even by the narrow chance you do its only the beginning. Men give up all their leverage to gynocracy through marriage and find its not worth the risk.

Women find it hard to find a man because they have been artificially elevated at all points in their life to the detriment of men. Women think that its just men are lazy because they cant see how society oppresses men. However that is not an excuse as a man to be worthless.


Oh yea and over 70 percent of BOTH sexes are overweight. I have always refused to date anyone overweight because it shows that they don't care about themselves so its almost impossible that person could care for me.

This, and I also think a big one is that people have too many options and no matter what think there's someone out there who's better for them. Chit like Tinder, etc you can find men/women close by and far away right in the convenience of your smartphone. You used to be limited to your immediate town or nearby towns to meet someone.

Dating apps are addicting af. My first marriage failed because we were both still addicted to the rush of getting new matches and dating new people. With my current wife I give her unrestricted access to my phone so that Iโ€™m not as tempted to succumb to being a degenerate serial dating app abuser. Jesus helps too.

Women don't need men anymore. They make enough money to support themselves, and by turn, neoliberalism has suppressed men's wages so much that the vast majority of men can't support a dependent woman.

Money and kids were the glue that held most of your 20th century relationships together, if not longer than that. Blow that up, and you don't get many relationships forming. People just don't need each other.

Men are just looking for sex, because they can't afford a family. And women realize how massively valuable their poocey is in an era where 1000 guys will just queue up online to bang them, so they treat horny betas like the expendable trash they are and hold out for the hottest possible option.

It's kind of fun. I can usually tell which couples met on online dating, because the guy is usually 3 points out of the woman's league. That's about what it takes to get women to delete their apps and commit nowadays.
