Sheppard was caught by his Girlfriend in the act of raping his 12yo stepdaughter-and it wasn’t the first time. She held him at gun point until law enforcement arrived.

That was my first thought, but suffering with HIV in prison seems worse.

I know, but surely she'd say something by the 3rd time or something? 6 is a lot, especially if this guy isn't even living with them or in some position of power over her. It's fuked up to say, but for this to happen 6 times without her saying anything, she probably enjoyed it to a certain extent.

Things like this happen in a lot of single mother homes. Single mothers are typically dumb and probably the easiest way for p3d0s to get access to children. I'm not sure how the single father dynamic plays, but it can't be worse than a single mother.

Not sure if the father was a dead beat, but it's my biggest fear to have a daughter, get divorced, and her get raped by the new boyfriend. And of course the mother never understands this.
