Woke Squad member Ayanna Pressley claims Walgreens is RACIST for closing stores in crime-ridden areas


Walgreens announced the closure of several stores nation wide due to what the company has described as 'rampant theft' in some areas.

Pressley said this decision targets areas with significant minority populations, calling for the company to reconsider their decision instead.

In a speech addressing the house, she said: 'This closure is a part of a larger trend of abandoning low-income communities like the previous closures in Mattapan and Hyde Park, both in the Massachusetts 7th.

San Francisco has closed close to 30 Walgreens in the past 6 years thanks to Democrat politicians and regressive voters

Pressley's logic: the stores that don't have rampant theft are supposed to subsidize the stores with rampant theft. Walgreens needs to keep those high theft stores open as charity so the locals can keep getting their free stuff. Reparations via Walgreens.

Ditto for the Walmarts that closed in Chicago.

Radical idea time: Talk to the local DAs so they actually prosecute repeat offenders, instead of letting them off dozens of times with a slap on the wrist.
