Why are there no reliable appetite suppressants?

In a world infested with obesity and instant gratification and supplement/pharma constantly looking for new ways to steal money.

How on earth is there not a pill or supplement that can reduce appetite to the point that people just don’t feel like eating?

I mean it could be as complex as blocking receptors, or as simple as a pill that expands in your stomach.

It makes no sense to me why there hasn’t been more research and funding geared towards a magic pill that would sell by the billions if it came to market.

More profitable to treat obesity long term instead of helping solve it.

Maybe for some pharma companies. Other companies have nothing to do with healthcare or obesity caused diseases.

I said reliable. Ozempic isn’t otc and also has some nasty side effects. Mainly kidney damage and if you don’t have diabetes then good luck getting a script.

Water is legit.

Nicotine works too, but it's addictive.

Methamphetamine is approved for obesity. Brand name is desoxyn. Good luck finding a doctor to prescribe it, but fda says it's safe for children lol. Can confirm speed does suppress appetite very well.

Honestly, I've had a very easy time keeping my appetite in check since I started vaping regularly. Nicotine is a good way to keep yourself in check.

Guys I’m not talking about lifestyle changes, exercise, water or prescription drugs with nasty side effects.

I’m talking about a simple otc pill. I’m just saying with all the funding and research being passed around it amazes me to think that there’s still no such thing.

I particularly start thinking about this stuff when I’m on a huge caloric deficit

I guess Bronkaid and Caffeine would count. It’s basically OTC

Coffee, cigs and water do the trick just fine. The issue is people would rather eat cause it releases more dopamine

EC stack, it's scary how effectively it killed my appetite. I quit after a few days, because I wanted my appetite back and to enjoy food.

Obviously the best appetite suppressant is food.

People are fat because of the composition of their diets. 99.9% will not prepare food ahead of time and rely on microwave of convenient foods.

If you are hungry look at the meal you had last and when you had it. Thats the issue. Now what will you eat? Suire, its easy to grab some chips or cookies or the like but in reality if you had something prepared and ate that you would be better off and less hungry.

Eating is a chore tbh. I don't understand how most people are fat, but everyone has their dispositions I guess
