Cant see chit captain but if you have to ask I'd say it's likely you're at least leaning in a karen-ish direction.

Not a Karen move at all IMO. That's actually a courteous letter. If I had a dog and received a letter like that I would go downstairs and immediately apologize. I think a Karen would have went upstairs and pounded on the neighbor's door while throwing a tantrum.

A note is a mistake. A stern in person warning is mandatory. I dealt with loud late night neighbors when I lived in a complex in person. The second time they refused to come to the door, were shushing each other, so I yelled through the door for them to hear. Afterward no more late night noise and when passing they'd always look down and away from me.

TL;DR don't be a fhaggot with this or a future interaction. Face to face, stop kissing you neighbor's ass, you're not going to be pals in the future.
