Anyone else find discussing politics with partisans absolutely pointless?

As an unaffiliated bipartisan independent American citizen I'm beginning to find this all pointless.

There are a few dozen real dullards (or bots) here that can only blurt out peedo or jew to any and all topics, they get tedious and are pointless on every level.

I've learned a thing or two from the perspective of partisans, I'm not trying to change their mind though, which would be pointless.

I find discussing politics with 90%+ of people in general to be utterly pointless.
