Boss found out I'm taking a new job

I accepted it and now waiting for all the pre employment chit to go through. Had to take a dot physical and they did a bunch of chit and took x rays yesterday. That should be the last of it, drug test and background was good. But I want everything to clear and be official before I give notice.

Anyways I told 1 person at the gym I've known for years. That person told my boss I'm leaving this evening at the gym. My boss texted me and asked if I'm leaving. I'm sure he's upset cause I'm one of his best workers... I admitted it but told him it's not official yet so don't want to give notice until it's all clear. Feel bad he didn't hear it from me. If I see that dude at the gym I'm gonna ask him why the fuk did you tell my boss? That's not cool lol.

Lesson learned. I don't think he can do anything but just feel bad about the way he found out. I think I'll get cleared tomorrow hopefully to officially give notice

Time to get a new friend.

Good look with the new gig. How much more are you getting?

Didn't you just make a thread talking about being a landlord of a place in CA and then moving to live off your rich gf in FL or some chit?
