Fukin hold me bros

Just found out this morning that one of my moto riding buddies died on the same canyon route we always took.

This fukin hurts man. he was such a genuinely nice dude, a good rider, wore his gear, didn't squid or act like a fool. I'm guessing after the recent storms roads probably weren't fully cleared of debris and he hit a dirt patch or something. We were supposed to ride together the weekend prior too.

Don't really care what you guys have to say just needed to vent. Hope you all have a safe day/week and hold your loved ones close..never know just how close you are to the end.

I'm genuinely sorry to hear that, man. Life is so damn fragile. Remember to focus on all the cool times you had and let that help you through the process. Also, as 7empest said, do take care of yourself. I'd be sad if I heard something like that happened to you, OP.

RIP. At least he died doing what he loved and didn't go out some cuck way. Motorcycles is one thrill I really plan on getting into. Gotta be careful.

Sorry man that is awful. I lost a friend in an accident a couple years ago and will never be the same. No one ever knows what the future holds and tomorrow isn't promised. Tell your friends and fam you love them and cherish every moment on this earth.

OP your loss will be difficult to bear, but you will come through and remember it's OKAY to grieve and cry it out. It's a perfectly healthy, natural way to come to terms with an untimely loss. Do not let anyone tell you different, you have to let it out and face it, you will feel 100x better for a while until it builds up again. Then let it out again and repeat until you have control over the pain.

I shall pray for you to have the strength in the coming days.

well he certainly didn't intend to die. Turns out it was a single vehicle collision (no one else involved), hit some gravel on a turn and went down and over the canyon edge.

yeah i plan to keep riding. risk is worth the reward to me and many others. cheers bro
