doubt it, if something serious was about to go down, why leak it to the media or declassify it so your enemy's can figure out you know it?
if you really want to know when to be worried, make friends with someone with a TS clearance and an important government job(someone who attends briefs involving O-7's and above). if that individual starts freaking out then you know chits probably going down

Could be how the Chinese government has access to lots of US infrastructure and can shut down electricity and water treatment facilities. But that's not classified info to my knowledge.

Rogan had a guest on who was former high level intelligence (I think it was Christopher Mellon, but I could have the guest wrong). He explained that early in his career, the government had bad information and seriously believed a nuclear bomb had been smuggled into NYC to be detonated.

The government had decided not to inform anyone because it would only lead to panic, and because there was no clear death mitigation strategy if it was true.

My sense is that if we had a country about to nuke us, the default position of most administrations would be to disclose nothing in advance. I imagine some people might disagree and go public with it, like this.

Yeah I'd agree with that statement, but thats kind of extreme. Nukes probably mean the end of the world, and if it was that srs the dude would leak the info himself because even if he got criminal charges its game over anyways.
What makes this dude encouraging the declassification more of an expert than anyone else with this information? Biden probably has a bunch of more qualified dudes telling him not to declassify it.
Classified information has different levels, so even if it doesn't go public on fox news, that doesn't mean allied nations aren't aware of it
