A drunk mind speaks a sober heart

What are your opinions on this?

Do you feel the drunk mind brings out a true self uninhibited, or that being under the effects of a drug means it isn't your true self?

In my anecdotal experience, I'd have to agree with the saying. Drunk me is still me, but with much less fear and self doubt. I still always have a degree of control over myself, but I feel like I become the Super Saiyan version of me.

Thoughts?

I don't mean blackout. You aren't supposed to drink that damn much, Jesus.

That's literally dangerously drunk. I just mean you're before the point to where this will become a problem later in the night.

To an extent yes, but it largely depends on the person's personality and the amount of alcohol consumed

You know how there are some people who are like Jekyll and Hyde where they go from friendly to total kunt from drinking/drugs? I wouldn't say that's necessary a true reflection of someone.

A person who is shy and is able to become more outgoing/charismatic? That's probably closer to how they really are or wish they were without the handicap of mental barriers such as anxiety, being afraid to speak their mind etc.

I hope so.

When my dad drinks, he tells me he loves me.

When my girl drinks, she wants to phuck me.

I don’t drink but when I have in the past I just became more social. Usually I’m the guy sitting in the corner quiet, on alcohol I’m the center of the conversation.

For some people, sure. When I get drunk I get more blunt but also more hyperbolic, so it isn't quite right.

There's some truth to it. Like you said, it's still you but with less fear and self doubt.

I believe that's why I enjoyed barmaxxing so much.

Yea I'd agree with this. Less inhibitive and more likely to think with your heart and feelings for sure. But like you said, it can certainly go too far. There are times when I remember "feeling" a certain way when drunk, then waking up the next day and thinking about it, and honestly saying to myself, "the fuk outta here, you don't even remotely actually feel that way at all".
