What's a job with good opportunity and a fairly low barrier of entry?

Don't recommend forklifting, I've watched too many people ****ing up that I'm too scared that I'd do the same.

Honestly they don't exist.

The barrier to entry is what makes good jobs, good. Otherwise you get a flood of low-skilled people into those jobs, and then the pay, benefits, and working conditions all crater.

I think the best bet, if you don't have any special skills or attributes or money, is to find a job where the barrier to entry is time.

A union job like UPS driver or USPS mail carrier or correctional officer or sanitation worker. You'll spend the first 10 years sweeping floors but once you get some seniority those jobs can be very good, low six figures with great stability, pensions, and good benefits.
