I've spotted trends before well ahead of time - this is the one I see emerging. UBi or not, AI will soon displace most jobs forever. There will be a ton of free time. With AI capabilities, porn will become way more highly addictive than it is now. Free time + next level porn = a nation of gooners

There won't be any kind of revolution to reset this because people's needs will be met. No dire need for change. But relationships will be all kinds of redefined. We'll look like a new species inside of 10 years, with wildly different behaviors. Eventually, AI will develop some antidote to the state of gooning and it will steer us back to some normalcy. But until then, probably the next decade or two, it's gonna be hedonistic hypersexuality

Certainly a possibility.

I’d hate to be growing up in this world. Feel bad for anyone who is. Oh wait I’m only 35, I apparently just started my life and it’s already over. Oh well.
