Potatoes and Chicken Thighs

Wine reduction. The bits that stick to the pan, you deglaze it with white wine and add butter and it makes a nice sauce. I overcooked mine and it came out like that, didn't look great but it tasted very good.

Exclusively Goya.

I used Sazon, Adobo, and Sofrito, chopped onions and peppers, a bit of mustard and a bit of soy sauce.

You'd be surprised. I never thought I could fast for 2 days and I've done a couple 5 day fasts a year for a couple years now.
Most vegetables taste very bitter to me. So I usually sneak them into food. But no vegetables last night.

You quit too early. It's never easy but it gets a lot easier once carbs are depleted and the body switches over to burning fat/ketones. Most of the initial bad feeling is that switch. If you only gave it 2 days, that wasn't enough time to get an accurate measure of what low carb feels like.

It wasn't even the low carb thing. It was the protein powder, made me want to gag everytime I smelled it. It still helped because after those two days I was able to stick to my diet for the whole 10 weeks. I lost 40lbs in those 10 weeks.

I still can't drink protein shakes without gagging. Guess I just had too much of it when I first started lifting.
