Do people not know how to handle jealousy man? Damn

My whole life people have always tried to control my identity and tell me what to do. They constantly fight with me and disrespect me because i refuse to become the person they want me to be and do the thingd they want me to do. They literally just stalk and harrass me all day. Its crazy. I know there jealous because im so much more than them, but damn - dont thsse people ever find more constructive ways to handle jealousy?
