DF: Xcloud Streaming is worse than Playstation Plus Streaming






What's going on here ... I thought Microsoft were the leaders of cloud gaming and every usual xcel kept saying that streaming games onto their favorite platform is better than any other service.

Very surprising considering the leaps we think Xbox is going to make into app based GamePass offerings.

Didn't watch vid but I have to imagine so much of this is just a personal experience based on your own internet speeds? Or did they have a way of like testing this differently?


Idk honestly I've never really tried either. A couple of games from xbox cloud but they were nothing burger games, like arcade games not aaa games.

Lol Xbox keeps on taking L's. After losing all its exclusives it's now also inferior when it comes to streaming

Only in a few countries.
For $10 more a month than Xbox with a worse library, and worse device support.

Apparently owned games will be playable on Xbox this year, but they said that years ago.

Yep, considering when people talk about cloud computing etc you think of Microsoft and Azure.

I just skimmed through their written work. Honestly, if any place would do extensive testing and then have an unbiased take on it it'll be Digital Foundry.



If anything seems like Geforce Now might be the best service for streaming games? I've heard nothing but good stuff about their service when it comes to streaming these days.
