Acting like they had difficult lives when they sold out the financial futures of 4 generations following them (gen-x, millennials, zoomers, and alphas).

Too much nonsense to name.
Basically, head in the sand, rigid life perspectives, lack of self-awareness.
Obviously, not all boomers. But pretty common.

Look at current gyms, the atmosphere, how Zoomers work out.
Look at concerts before 2010, the atmosphere, the participation, living in the moment.
Look at concerts after 2010, nobody participates, everyone holding up their phones.

"i need a another brake caliper bracket, can you come with me to the junkyard? i couldn't get the wheel off the car there to get it"
something my actual boomer dad said to me.
I offered to just buy him the new one, but it wasn't about the money. oh no.
so we drove 45 mins. one way, loaded a jack and tool box into a sled, i pulled it a football fields length through a snowy and flooded junkyard to the right car, jacked it up and took the wheel off, took the brake caliper off for him.
drove 45 mins. back.
he tries to put it on.....doesn't fit. he has a 3.4l and we took it off a 3.6l which has heavier duty brakes.
junkyard doesn't have a 3.4.
so he puts it in the vice and pulls his angle grinder off the shelf and proceeds to just grind it down until it fits.
at this point i've pissed half the day away because he wanted to save $50.
he's got the money.
I know he has the money.
Boomers.
