Having really bad pain in my tooth (GTFIH)

Bottom left all the way back touching the wisdom teeth

Have a really big carie on it and a dark black spot

Was told need a root canal which I don’t want

So gonna just extract and crown

Hopefully the pain goes away

Sht is keeping me awake
I don't check my CP, IDC about reps/negs

Toothache scks balls, hope it's sorted soon OP. A root canal can last decades though if done right, although the procedure isn't fun.

I've had all 4 widsom teeth taken out and it was brutal, felt like I got the chit beat outta me. I've had 2 or 3 root canals and they aren't bad in comparison. Worst part is the dental dam thing they do

Pretty sure you cant put a crown after you extract a tooth. You would have to get an implant.

this. if you get it pulled you're gonna have a gap there and possibly **** your jaw bone structure up until you can pay a couple k out of pocket for an implant. it's always better to maintain the tooth root and get a root canal + crown if you can.

You do understand that root canals are part of the process when it comes to crowns. You can't put a crown without getting a root canal first. Your only other option would be just extract it and putting in a dental implant which will cost your upwards of 7k.

Nothing you can do of the pain but maybe try rotating Ibuprofen & Tylenol every 2 hours unless you can get some codeine or something strong from a doctor.
