Been sick for a week...Do I have covid or a flu?!
Started out being super fatigued...slept for like 24 hours straight. Then have consistently had a cough with green mucus coming up. That hasnt gone away in 7 days. Also would have night sweats and wake up drenched in sweat. So I believe I had a fever. First 3 days had absolutely 0 appetite. As of today (Day 7) I have a bit more energy, less coughing but a throbbing headache/migraine. Should I go to a clinic to get tested or just wait this one out? My boss wants me back at work

I don’t think it matters. Covid is the flu.
Also, your boss wouldn’t come back in if he was sick. Tell him to go phuck himself srs.

Go to walmart and get the tylenol sever cold and flu daytime medicine. They make a great value brand thats the same thing.
The little orange juicy caplet things.
Take 2 every 4 hours or so as needed. especially before bed. Get the daytime kind because the night time gives you a weird drug hangover thing.
This will help with the symptoms. If you have gone this far on your own you should be able to just get over it with rest. The meds will just make it easier.

A guy here described influenza A and B, so i am sure that is what it was.

Hard to say what is going on. The only way to find out is to be tested, at a clinic or with one of those home tests. If it will help with the boss and his wanting you back at work, a visit to the clinic sounds like a good idea.
I've been reading about fever therapy of late. It has been found helpful in fighting against infections and against cancer. Fevers are not enjoyable to deal with, they tire you out as your body is burning about twice as many calories to generate high heat. Your appetite declines also during that time. Fevers are good though at helping to bring a cold/flu/COVID to a quicker resolution. It probably would be better to avoid an NSAID medication because they will stop a fever from forming, prolonging your infection. There can be circumstances were a doctor recommends an NSAID medication during an infection, but it tends to be for older folks, who have poor energy levels to generate high body heat.
