Having the worst pain imaginable (GTFIH)

Dental pain is literally the worst

Bottom left tooth

So much pain

Have a giant carie in there with a black dot on it

Needs a root canal or extraction

I’m gonna do extraction and implant

Last night had so much pain almost went to the ER

Took some
Ibuprofen and tooth gel applied on it which didn’t do sht

So then rinsed with warm salt water and the pain went away

But now it’s coming back up and I’m scared

Im waiting till Monday to schedule an appointment with my holistic dentist so I can get in asap and extract this unless they can numb the pain somehow.

Any dentist should be able to extract a tooth for cheap

Tooth infection can spread take care of it quick
Best lifts:
Bench press: 315x5
Squat: 465x1
Strict press: 205x5
Deadlift: 405x13 (conv tap'n'go with straps)

Called a local dentist and they can see me and maybe give me some meds as my pain is flaring up so I’m going there now

Got prescribed amoxicillin 500mg

And Ibuprofen 600 mg

Is it safe to take the antibiotic

They are saying there’s an infection

I’m worried about taking the antibiotic

Did they take X-rays? They can usually tell if you have an internal infection with X-rays. Take the antibiotics starting now, the more you wait the worse it will get.

The pain stopped as well so how is it getting worse?

Ok. That's weird. But if the pain stopped then I guess it's not getting worse. You're probably right in waiting.

Why would you wait to run it past your regular dentist to take antibiotics & pain killers for acute toothache / probable dental abscess if prescribed by another dentist?

Your pain cannot be that bad.

I’m feeling some weird sensation in the middle of my chest/chest and head feels weird

Maybe side effects of ibuprofen I took?

Also they said the reason the pain stopped is cuz they said the nerve is dead now as that’s why the pain was bad

But it’ll come back again but that’s what we don’t know

It was really bad last night

Worst pain ever

Now it stopped but the lymph node area still feels really tender To touch on that side

Where are you located specifically? You don't want a dentist, you want an oral surgeon, likely need an extraction and implant. Any good oral surgeon will see you right away if it's an emergency.

I had similar last year and got it out. The worst pain of all was after extraction when the dentist's own local wore off and there was a period of no pain relief at all. Fck dentists. Not all tooth aches are the same, the bottom molar was worse than anything before.
