McDouble is cheaper than buying frozen patty's from walmart

the cheapest one great value brand, not even close to the others. let alone prep time and other chit

Macro's are better too, way more protein on mcdonalds, way less fat. Without the cheese it's 340 calories per mcdouble.

Bring some freshly sliced red onions, tomatoes and lettuce and literally tastes like a burger from a steakhouse and makes it huge (this is the ultimate hack srs)

I eat 3 of them everyday before the gym and get a chit ton of free stuff on the mcdonalds app from the points.

1020 calories, 45 fat, 60g protein, 93 carbs. Cost me 6.35 with the mcdonalds app. Plus maybe like $0.30 for the veggies

If you know of a cheaper, better meal let me know

lol a small ass pack of 1# ground beef is $10 and has worst macros, plus time for cooking and shopping

mcdouble has 3.2 ounces of beef

1# has 16, so 5 pattys for $10, mcdonalds you get 4 full burgers for $8. also buying all the other chit, cooking, etc. Don't think it's a better deal. Maybe it was before joe biden

That's crazy.

UK supermarket is 500g 5% fat minced steak for $4.50. 15% fat is about a dollar less.

JFL at being too stupid to buy the meat and cook it. It’s a job that McDs has middle school dropouts, former felons, drug addicts, and dingers do. Just add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and msg then make a smash burger which cooks in 2-3 minutes total and has way more flavor. Ground beef is $4/6 dollars a lb and Mcdouble is 0.25 lbs so around $1 per burger on the meat. The rest of the stuff is even cheaper

my local grocery store often has fresh ground beef 10 patties for $10 sale

a mcdouble in california is $3.29 and the patties are so thin you might as well call it one patty

I did some math, you can get the absolute most chit beef for 5.99 from ALDIs with 27% fat. Condiments and buns/pickles for a whole month. It’s $2 less per day than McDonald’s and more an extra hour everyday cooking and doing dishes, grocery runs, propane to cook and food prepping. Then also I’d have to go home and eat which is more gas to go out again to the gym since it’s on the way from work , or pack a burger that would be chit quality after being packed all day

Seems hardly worth it when I can order McDonald’s next to the gym and they bring it out in 5 seconds. The argument against price is not a great one.
